Writing on the Wall

what have we begun,
when we pray like this?
What have we done?
Can we ever know--
what seeds we sow
what lights we show
what dreams we throw?
here playing like kids
in danger places
atomic seeds
hidden graces
radiation
kingdom come, what have we begun?
here we see angels,
burning like the sun.
here we juggle destinies
what is this thing we've done?
what army gets commissioned
kneeling in this way?
What passion finds expression
when wounded soldiers pray?
are nameless heroes rising?
tomorrow's chosen ones
carriers of Jesus
What plague have we begun?
What dreamer writes upon the wall?
What wonders hem me in?
When we lit that three-way candle
What fires did we begin?

Tears

When all else fades away what remains?
When everything dies and darkness is despised
Heaven comes down

I see You standing there looking
Shoulder link hair waving in the breeze
Eyes full of compassion and intimacy
Eyes full of redemption
A Robe of white righteousness
So much love I can not describe flows through every part of me
Every crevice in these bones of humanity

I see You standing there looking at me
I see my reflection in those eyes
I see You, You see me
Reflecting perfectly
This is Love

With one gaze of love filled tears
With one gaze of love stained hands
Beckoning me to come "come and look at Me"
Beckoning me to come with Your Arms wide opened

I see You standing there
I see  You and You see me
A mirrored image from me to You, You to me
I see You, You see me
A mirrored image looking at You

Heaven come down     Heaven come down

I see You Father at the throne with Him
Perfected Love full of redemption
Justice and Righteousness are the foundation of Your throne
I see Father's Eye's full of Love, Compassion, Pain
I see me looking at Him through water filled eyes

A Father's tears full of love
A Lover waiting for His beautiful bride

For You say "I go to prepare a place for You.
And I will come again and receive you to Myself.
For where I am, You may also be."

The Father and the Son are High and Lifted up
Heaven is exalted with Love
The Angels sing Holy, Holy, Holy
The Lord God Almighty!!!

Holy, Holy, Holy,
Lord God Almighty!

The Father and the Son are High in the Heavens
I will wait in faith and pray and sing
I will pray in the Spirit, I will pray with the understanding
I will sing in the Spirit, I will sing with the understanding

Jesus come home     Jesus come home

A Father's tears full of love
A Lover waiting for His beautiful bride
Maranatha My Lord, My Lover, My Friend
Maranatha

Hawaiian Parable

A man goes out on the beach and sees that it is covered with starfish that have washed up in the tide.  A little boy is walking along, picking them up and throwing them back into the water.  "What are you doing, son?" the man asks.  "You will never make a difference."  The boy paused thoughtfully, and picked up another starfish and threw it into the ocean.  "It sure made a difference to that one," he said.

from glory to glory

I had this amazing revelation this morning as I was running on the treadmill.  It's funny how most of my revelations come when I am running.  I think I will continue to run with my bright green flashcards!
"For it is God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ." 2 Corinthians 4:6
I just began to pray this scripture and thank the Lord for separating the darkness from His first creation.  It's amazing that God's first creation and command was of light to shine out of darkness.  That out of darkness shown a beautiful light and then God separated the light from the darkness.  He saw that this was good.  What a beautiful thing that our Father-God would create light in the midst of darkness. In the midst of a darkened void came a beautiful light!  Then it goes on to say that God has shone this very light into our hearts so that this light, which is the very knowledge of all of His glory, which comes by seeking after the face of Jesus Christ.  We have this very light placed into our hearts by the Father by continuing to seek after knowing Jesus Christ.  By living a life of communion with Jesus, we obtain the knowledge of God's Glory.  Our Father's glory will be revealed to His children, by seeking relationship with His very Son.
Card Switch:
"No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you."  John 15:5
Isn't it amazing? I am His friend.  Let me say this again... I am His friend.  He sees little me as His friend.  How much I love this beautiful Man! That He could love me so much to die for me and then to call me His friend is stunning!  I am reminded of these verses...
"Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends." John 15:13
"Set me as a seal upon your heart, As a seal upon your arm; For love is as strong as death, jealousy as cruel as the grave; Its flames are flames of fire, a most vehement flame." SOS 8:6
May my Friend, my Love, be forever as a seal upon my heart, may my heart always be on fire for Him.  How He will forever be my strength and the seal upon my arm.  His Love endures for me beyond the grave and He is jealous for me.  He is jealous for my love, my devotion, my attention, and even my daydreams.  He has set His love upon my heart and my soul is this burning flame, a most vehement flame.   His Love won the grave and won my heart.  Let there be no compromise.
"This is my Beloved, this is my Friend, O daughters of Jerusalem!" SOS 5:16
Flash card switch:
"But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.  2 Corinthians 3:18
As I was running... I looked up and immediately saw my reflection running toward me, as I beheld my own image in the gym mirror... I imagined the image of Christ.  We always look at ourselves in a mirror and see the reflection of our human fimage.  We are called to come to Jesus and this is with an unveiled face.  Meaning that since the old law-the letter is gone (through Jesus' new covenant of blood that was shed on Calvary), we are now able to approach the very presence of God, through Jesus Christ.  The verse calls us to come as we are. We are called to come to Jesus with all of our baggage, with an unveiled face to look upon the glory of the Lord.  As we continue to seek after Jesus and have communion with Him in worship and prayer, then our baggage will become less and less due to the transformation that will take place, from glory to glory.  Its like this... the more and more you are around someone, you start to pick up their traits, their personality characteristics, things that they do become things that you also do.  So the more and more we continue to stare into the face of Jesus-the more we become like Him.  The more we look upon the glory of the Lord, the more we hold and carry the glory of the Lord...  from glory to glory.  I am His little glory!!! I can see it now...  He looks down from Heaven at me and speaks to the angels... “look there... (finger pointing), there’s my little glory! Do you see her? There’s my little glory!” Angels rejoice! :-)
As I came back into focus in the mirror, I realized how much I tend to focus on my image in life and how much more I need to focus on the face of Jesus Christ.  I desire to behold His very image and to be more transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ, while beholding His glory.
I then was lead to the next bright green flashcard!
"Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You gave Me, for You loved Me before the foundation of the world."
                                                                                                                                      John 17:23
Its like this... Jesus is our inheritance.  We drop the things of this world to gain a beautiful inheritance in Christ Jesus ... and then we become transformed through His glory (glory to glory) and we become His inheritance!!!  Isn't it amazing that we are given to Jesus by the Father! I was given to Jesus by the Father.... wow! I can imagine the conversations now...
"My Son please take this one, Nicole.  Let her learn from you, let her behold Your Glory which I gave to You.  Son I have loved You since before the creation of the world, take this very love that I have given You and give it to her.  Set the seal of My Love upon her heart that she may love You as I have loved You.  Son as You are at My Right Hand, she is seated with You in heavenly places.  Make her love us Son, from glory to glory."
                                                      The Father
I was reminded of the verse...
"But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly place in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus."
                                                                                                                                       Ephesians 2:4-7
As I began to run faster, I began to pray about my race in life.  I began to feel so much thankfulness to ward Father for giving me to Jesus and placing me in Heavenly places with Him, receiving a transformation from glory to glory and receiving a beautiful inheritance while becoming Jesus' inheritance, as well as the Father's.  I just began to thank Father for giving me Jesus and making Him my brother.  For the first time in my life I was able to call Father-Father and not Father-God.  For the first time, I completely understood the meaning of Father.  Not just the words, but for the first time I understood a glimpse of “Father”.  I felt the love of the Father pour down on me while running on that measly-black treadmill.  All alone in the gym, I was no longer alone.  The Father was there and my brother was there! I have read Matthew 12:49 over and over before and I have often questioned the complete meaning of Jesus being my brother.  Now I finally understood it!!! Jesus is my brother!!! Father-God is not just God, but He is my Father!!!  I am in a wonderful Family and I am loved, loved, loved.   I have a beautiful inheritance in Jesus Christ, while becoming a beautiful inheritance (from glory to glory) to the Son!!!
"Who is My mother and who are My brothers?"  And He (Jesus) stretched out His hand toward His disciples and said,  "Here are My mother and My brothers!"  Matthew 12:49

This is my Beloved,
This is my Friend,
This is my Brother.
How great is Father's love!

All of this revelation took place on a measly-black tread mill early on a friday morning.  I think I will continue my early morning runs with bright green flashcards!

Psalm 91

Psalm 91

Safety of Abiding in the Presence of God
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”

Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
      And from the perilous pestilence.
He shall cover you with His feathers,
      And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

A thousand may fall at your side,
      And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.

Because you have made the LORD, who is my refuge,
Even the Most High, your dwelling place,
 No evil shall befall you,
     Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
In their hands they shall bear you up,
Lest you dash your foot against a stone.
You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra,
The young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot.

  “Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.
 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
      I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
With long life I will satisfy him,
      And show him My salvation.”

Love Me by loving them.

Love.
Sounds wonderful but at times it is so difficult.
I failed to love today.  Easily said. I failed in this department.
Let the frustrations of the day surround me and my emotions.
Let selfishness rise up and take control.  Like it's really all about me anyway?
How I am supposed to be this living light of love...  I fall short all too many times.
Teach me how to love. Teach me how to love the ones that seem so unlovable.
Let me not fear to love despite the circumstances that are faced.
Let not fear rise up and take control... for perfect love casts out all fear.
Let not anger rise up and take control... for anger works not the righteousness of God.
Jesus, help me be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger.
Knock out my selfish tendencies and rise up the living flame... that You so loved me with.
How I was once dark, drugged, and ugly beyond measure.
You - A Beautifully Redeeming Man... came with arms wide open.
Loved me unconditionally and set Eternity into my Heart.
How You renewed my mind, my heart, my soul, my body.
You told me...
"Love Me.  Love Me with all of your heart, with all of your soul, with all of your strength... and love them."
Love them. Love them. Love them.
It rings... but help it cut deep.
I hear You saying... "Love Me by loving them."
How I have failed in this area.  Forgive me and teach me My Lord.
Jesus teach me. Teach me to love as You love.
Teach me to love without standard, without measure.
For You will say...  "Assuredly, I say to you inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My bretheren, you did it to Me."
Help me give all to all for Your Name's sake.
For what reward is there without love?
Thank you that Your compassions fail not, that they are new with me every morning.
You are faithful even when I am not.
Teach me to love.  Teach me to be more like You.

Prophets of Prayer

I had this random thought while driving today.  I was driving while singing my heart out to Jesus and all of a sudden I had this word placed into my mind... "prophet."  I just stopped and repeated it and asked the  Lord... "What do you mean by this?" Immediately I started thinking about the old testament prophets and how they proclaimed messages, decrees, and discipline upon Israel and the Nations.  I thought to myself... "Do we really have prophets of old today?"
Then the Lord spoke these words to me... "Prophets of Prayer."
I immediately was struck by Holy Spirit and joy!  I don't know why but I just started laughing so hard that I had tears in my eyes.  Father-God is so good.  I absolutely love how He speaks to me.  Randomly driving, screaming in worship, and not thinking about anything really biblical at the time.  Then He speaks so clearly that I can hear His voice, even in my soul...  "Prophets.  Prophets of Prayer," He says.
Its like Father creeps up on us when we least expect it.  Like when you're a child and your mother or father is hiding behind something.  You know the parents are there but when they jump out they still scare you.  Its a kind of surprise and scare that the child loves, in which the child reacts with wanting more... "Do it again, please!" That's how Father-God creeps up on us... "Do it again, please!" :-)
Today, God is still raising up prophets.  These prophets are different from the old testament but not any less of importance.  He is raising up prophets to set decrees, shift the nations, change the atmosphere in regions and cities, and to be united with Him and His plans through prayer.
He wants His children to have their hearts not in the world but in prayer for the world.  God is raising up a generation of "Prophets of Prayer."

Consecration

Your hands say my name
Your feet have taken away all this shame
You consume me     You consume me
Like a burning flame running through these veins
You consume me     You consume me

Yeshua come consume me
Yeshua come consume me
Yeshua     Yeshua

Its those hands that speak identity into me
Its those feet that have released Grace freely but yet so undeservingly
Its that crown upon Your brow that has given me honor in becoming Your daughter
Its that slashed side that has given me the water of life

I will come to the well that will never run dry
I will come to the water of life

You say: "Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters;
And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat.
Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price."

Come to the well that will never run dry
Come to the water of life
Come to the well that will never run dry
Come receive eternal life

You paid the utmost sacrifice and I give You my whole life
Its in those hands and its in those feet and they scream me!
Nicole... Nicole... come and drink!

Come to the well that will never run dry
Come to this water of life
Come and drink and come and eat
Come receive all of Me

You paid the utmost sacrifice and I give You my whole life
You consume me     You consume me
Like a burning flame running through these veins
You consume me     You consume me

Yeshua come consume me
Yeshua come consume me
Yeshua       Yeshua

Its not about me but its all about You
Less of me and more of You
Dropp'n the popularity cause its not really hot anyway
rather have the burning flame flowing through these veins
It's not for fame but may it all be in Yeshua's Name

"Take my life and let it be
Consecrated, Lord, to Thee.
Take my moments and my days,
Let them flow in endless praise." -hymn

Come, Yeshua, come.

Home for Christmas

Home for the holidays! I couldn't imagine being anywhere else for Christmas.  I've always made it a priority to be home in Indiana for Christmas.  Although I've missed numerous thanksgivings, birthdays, and other important events... apologies go forth.  Christmas has been my one rule. Through all the different cities, countries, and continents... I've seemed to always make it homebound for the jingle season.  I hope that this is always the case during this important festive celebration, "inshallah" I say.  His Will over mine.  What a wonderful time it has been with family and friends, although I didn't get to see everyone... maybe next time.  They will be in my thoughts and prayers.

So here I sit at the airport, drinking a vanilla latte, bags checked, and my new "mac" out- typing away.  Yep, I upgraded... I now own a mac! I absolutely love it... but it will take some time to get adjusted.  Maybe I can take a tutorial class or two once getting back to the UAE.  Unless your reading this, are in my current city, and want to give me free lessons? Coffee will be on me. :-)

A wonderful Christmas in Indiana, heading to a Spirit filled 4 day conference in Kansas City! Holy Spirit rain on me! Aauugghh how I have longed for my home away from home in a different home.  Yes, that may be a little confusing but somehow it's true.  Kansas City has captured a piece of my heart, it's all about His House of Prayer.  I am coming to realize just how important His House... or Houses of Prayer are.  My heart has been on fire lately when thinking about His House of Prayer.  Transform me to have more Zeal for Your House Lord. Transform this heart to be Zealous for what You are Zealous for.  I'm so stoked about this conference! Can't wait to see what He has in store!

So with that said... Here I am, gett'n ready to board another plane (although a shorter flight this time).  I have come to realize that there are two things that I had taken for granted while living in the States... tall boots and IHOP!  Funny thing is... I'm now wearing boots to IHOP! Hahaha!

What about the others?

I lifted my hands high in praise and began to sing my verses to the King. I felt free. I felt absolutely exhilarated. I felt love. I felt grace. I wanted to seek His face. I began to go deep into communion with Him. I can only explain it in a way that a human mind can explain a deep mystery, which isn't any sort of explanation at all. So I can't explain it in words that are comprehendable. It's real. It's alive. It's fire. It's a desire that absolutely consumes you and you never ever want to go back. It's Spirit and Truth. It's His real love.

As I began to commune deep into Him, I told Him "I want to know Your Heart." "What are You feeling?" "Show me a closeness that I have not known." I began to sing my verses in the spirit. As I closed my eyes I saw the darkness of an abandoned room that stung with death. As the room adjusted to my eyes, I realized that I was not alone. As I looked around the room, I saw the whites of little eyes set upon me. I gazed into their faces. Stolen, abused, trapped, and sold. Helplessness. Despair. I looked into their childlike eyes but their sense of childhood seemed to have been buried deep down, until it seemed that it was no longer. My heart yearned to snatch them all up into rescue. Where was I? Who were they? Could I save them? They were abandoned but only to be used. As I looked into their scared faces I could hear the music of intercession for contending for their freedom. The intercession was playing in the darkness of the house. I could hear the prayers going forth but they could not hear them. How I could feel God's love for them. How I could feel God's very Heart for them.

A man appeared to enter the room. Rushing to me in a frantic he said "Hurry. It's time to go. Grab 1 child." So I grabbed one child as a mother hen would rescue one of her young. I put him under my wing and began to run. I ran the child to safety. Placing him down into the shadow of the Almighty. Safe he was but wait... I began to scream and cry... "No! What about the others?! What about the others?!" They were stuck in the trap of slavery.
